He Gave Everthing for Us

     "And being found in human form, he humbled himself by becoming obedient to the point of death, even death on a cross. Therefore God has highly exalted him and bestowed on him the name that is above every name, so that at the name of Jesus every knee should bow, in heaven and on earth and under the earth, and every tongue confess that Jesus Christ is Lord, to the glory of God the Father." Philippians 2:8-11.

     What a great God we have. While the Muslims have a god who oppresses them, the Hindus have gods who require little from them, and the atheists have no "god" at all, we have a God who would give up His life for us! Let's just stop and think about that for a second. What person do you love most in the entire world? How much would you do for them? Would you DIE for them? How about your worst enemy? That's EXACTLY what Jesus Christ did for us! Our actions every day spit in God's face, and tell everyone that we hate him. Despite that, He loves us so much that he would die an extremely painful death, and separate himself from his Father, just so that we could be a part of his kingdom!

     We need to realize that every single day, and give Him as much glory as he truly deserves. Not only did he die for us, but he lived for us! Through out his life, he never sinned once, so as to fulfill the law FOR us so that we could be forgiven by his blood. WITHOUT CHRIST we would never be able to get to heaven. We would be separated from our Creator, the God who loves us more than anything, forever. I don't know about you, but I need to work on giving Him everything, because without him, we'd have nothing.
